Gear oil has a certain odor. It smells, but the engine oil has no odor. However, this method can only be used as the simplest judgment method;
2. It is best for us to promptly go to a repair shop or 4S store after discovering this issue. If the oil in the car keeps leaking, it will cause problems with the car parts. We can also use some emergency remedial measures ourselves. We can check if there are spare parts, and if so, replace them. If not, we can place asbestos thread into the groove of the oil seal and then put the graphite asbestos strip back, but this method cannot last for a long time and still needs to be repaired as soon as possible.
